You are welcome to begin your Ayurvedic treatments any day of the week. Please call for availability.
We recommend the 8 day pancha karma retreat which gives you the opportunity to purify, relax and rejuvenate yourself. We offer pancha karma programs ranging from 3 to 21 days. You should arrive the afternoon before your treatment--you are given a tour of the center, have your Ayurvedic consultation and discuss your Pancha Karma treatments. Your treatments will begin the next morning. You may want to schedule your departure the morning after your last treatment to allow the effect of your pancha karma experience to sink in before returning to your busy world.
 Guest Rooms & Lodging
All-inclusive rates include a private guest room at the retreat, or you may choose to stay at a hotel in the area ($65 - $85 per night). We are located in the small country town of Alachua, Florida, about 20 minutes drive from the Gainesville airport (GNV); 2 hours north of Orlando (ORL); or 1 ½ hours southwest of Jacksonville (JAX). The Ayurveda Health Retreat is located at 14616 NW 140th St. Our local phone number is 352-870-7645.

Local Accomodations
Area hotels range from affordable and simple to full-service, and are from 5 to 25 minutes away from the clinic. You can stay in hotels in the city of Alachua, or close by in northwest Gainesville. Or you can treat yourself to a vintage motor lodge experience in High Springs, about 15 minutes from the clinic and only five to ten minutes from several of the area's freshwater springs.
There are several restaurants within walking distance to the clinic, including the Harvest Thyme Cafe (with a vegetarian menu) and Restaurante Deneno's (fine dining), as well as more eateries and grocery stores just a short drive away. Gainesville has several quality health food stores, only 15-20 minutes away.
What to Bring
People often find it necessary to rest during their pancha karma treatments. You will want to bring books, a journal and other things that are supportive of your healing process. Please bring comfortable cloths for yoga, a bathrobe and slippers.
Women
Pancha Karma is not recommended for women during their menses. Try to book your appointment safely outside of your menstrual period. If menses occurs during your treatments, the treatments will be adjusted appropriately.
Recreation
During your free time at thr retreat, you may want to take advantage of the abundant out-doors activities available within a fifteen or twenty minute drive. Nothing encourages relaxation and recovery like quality time spend reconnecting with Mother Earth. There are many clear springs, rivers, and lakes for swimming and canoeing or kayaking, as well as a wide range of walking and hiking trails for any level of expertise. Take a slow amble on a leafy path through O'Leno State Park, climb the stairs down into the Devil's Milhopper sinkhole, tube down the Ichetucknee River, or even bike through the San Felasco Hammock.
Climate and Weather
Alachua is situated in sunny, warm North Central Florida. In the fall and spring we have ideal weather 70s and lower 80s. During the winter, the days are usually comfortable but the nights may be quite cool. The summer is always hot. Bring appropriate clothing.

Terms and Conditions
Your deposit is due at the time your retreat is scheduled. Refunds will be given when cancellation notice is given at least 15 days from the time treatments are scheduled. If notice is given less than 15 days the Ayurveda Health Retreat will retain the fees.
Payments may be made by Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express. Personal checks are accepted. Gratuities are not required but appreciated.
