Ayurveda Health Retreat is now offering a 4-month, all inclusive, volunteer opportunity for massage therapists dedicated to making a difference in the world through learning and living an Ayurvedic lifestyle.
Our hands on approach to integrating the ancient knowledge of Ayurveda with our present day lives guarantees for a fulfilling, empowering, life changing experience.
Our program offers a balance of applied knowledge and experience through working with clients in a Health and Yoga retreat, along with the opportunity to adventure and explore your authentic self.
You will live in an environment that encourages personal growth and supports each individual on their separate, yet interconnected, path.

What You Give
Volunteers serve 25-30 hours per week with some weekends and evenings.
• Ayurveda Health Retreat Kitchen — prepare smoothies, prep veggies, set tables, kitchen clean-up, fresh juicing, shopping and cooking.
• Retreat maintenance — cleaning yoga studio and retreat center, restocking treatment rooms, assisting with general labor and repairs in the building and on the grounds.
• Office Support — assist with management; including web site and computer support, errands, telephone and email response.
• Community outreach — advertisement, creating pamphlets, distribution, farmer's market information booth, organizing yoga studio gatherings — weekly kirtan, monthly potlucks, movie nights, art nights.
• Ayurveda Health Retreat Panchakarma Department — while living the principles of Ayurveda you will receive training as an Ayurvedic Massage Therapist.
Price (all inclusive for 4 month stay):

What You Receive
The package includes unlimited access to yoga classes, cooking classes, Ayurveda courses, wholesome-delicious vegetarian meals, separate housing with space for gardening, bonfires and time for you.
You will also receive an Ayurvedic health consultation, pulse analysis and information on supporting quality health. You will get hands on training in Ayurvedic Royal Spa techniques such as Abhyanga, Nasya, and Shirodhara.
Local Attractions:
• beautiful freshwater springs and rivers for swimming, kayaking, and relaxing. (twenty minutes away)
• St Augustine Beach within 1.5 hour driving distance.
• San Felasco State Park for hiking, biking and horse back riding. (5 minutes away)
• Kanapaha Botanical Gardens (www.kanapaha.org/)
• Spiritual communities such as the Krishna Ashram (NewRamanReti.com) and the Temple of the Universe (www.tou.org) for daily meditation and kirtan. |
