Ayurveda Health Retreat is now offering a one to three months,
all inclusive volunteer internship opportunity for motivated individuals
dedicated to being their best, expanding their life, making a
difference in the world and learning and living an Ayurvedic lifestyle.
Price (all inclusive 1 month program): $780
Private room, meals, yoga, meditation, education, and one Royal
Spa Ayurveda Panchakarma treatment, health consultation &
pulse analysis. (Value $300)
*Second month program is $500
Additional time in the Seva Volunteer program is offered as an
opportunity for individuals to integrate as part of the Ayurveda
Health Retreat as needed..
Our hands on approach to integrating the ancient knowledge of
Ayurveda with our present day lives guarantees for a fulfilling,
empowering, life changing experience. Our program offers a balance
of applied knowledge and experience through working with clients
in a Health and Yoga retreat, along with the opportunity to adventure
and explore your authentic self.
You will live in an environment that encourages personal growth
and supports each individual on their separate, yet interconnected,
path. Assist us in creating a positive and transformative experience
for all of our guests.
To intern with us at the Ayurveda Health Retreat is a truly holistic
experience. It will allow you to explore and understand the beauty
of giving whole heartedly with pure intention and presence and
also the opportunity to receive, learn and grow. What we can offer

Work Commitment
Interns serve 25-30 hours per week with some weekends and evenings.
commitment will include 2-3 hours of
retreat feng shui cleaning, laundry and kitchen assistance per
day. A volunteer schedule will be provided which will allow you
to plan your day and make most of your experience. Incorporated
play and conscious connections.
Work Areas
- Nutrition Kitchen Prepare smoothies, prep veggies, set tables,
kitchen clean-up, fresh juicing, shopping and cooking. Learn
what it takes to stock a retreat kitchen, order in bulk and
manage a daily influx of guest services.
- Retreat Grounds, Landscaping & Maintenance Green thumb
gardeners welcome! Gardening, green cleaning yoga studio and
retreat center, laundry, restocking treatment rooms, general
labor and repairs for building, grounds and intern ashram.
- Office Support Assist with management including web site
and computer support, errands, telephone and email response.
- Community Outreach Advertisement, creating pamphlets, distribution,
farmer’s market information booth.
- Event Planning Organizing yoga studio gatherings which may
include weekly kirtan, monthly potlucks, community outreach
& education, intergenerational programs with youth and the
elderly, health workshops, movie nights, art nights, etc.

Tools For A Spiritual LIfe
By being one of our volunteer interns, you will be immersed in
a spiritual live/work environment and experience that will compliment
your life in many ways. You will cultivate new tools for a spiritual
life.
Meet new people who have travelled from all around the world to
attend the Ayurveda Health Retreat, expand your being through
unlimited access to yoga and Ayurveda workshops, take healthy
cooking classes for better nutrition, enjoy wholesome-delicious
vegetarian meals & feel relaxed in our cozy offsite volunteer
ashram.
We are committed to helping you have a fulfilling healing Ayurveda
experience and as such are offering all of our interns and volunteer
staff an ongoing 25% discount on Ayurveda Health Retreat services.
While you will receive one complimentary Royal Spa treatment as
an intern, additionally we recommend one Royal treatment each
month you are here to facilitate integration of Ayurveda more
into your life. You will also receive an Ayurvedic health consultation,
pulse analysis and helpful information to support your continuing
journey of exceptional health. You will have meaningful personal
time during your stay for reflective thinking, relaxing, adventuring.
Yoga Ashram
Our volunteer ashram is located across the street from an outdoor
recreation center and park in historic downtown Alachua. You can
walk or ride a bike in a few minutes to the yoga studio and health
retreat.
Fostering simplicity and green living, only natural products
(no synthetic chemical personal care, laundry or cleaning products)
are used in the ashram for those guests and staff who are allergic
or
chemically sensitive. Please be prepared to live in a fragrance
free, smoke, drug, meat, eggs and fish free environment. There
are three bedrooms available in the bright, diversely painted
house, two shared bathrooms, full kitchen, large tree canopy backyard
with room for fire circles and an open, spacious living room for
yoga, reading from the wisdom library or watching a movie in the
spiritual cinema.
