Explore the art and science of Ayurvedic stress reduction with the staff of the Ayurveda Health Retreat. 

Join us for a long weekend of classes on Ayurveda, yoga and meditation for stress reduction, and an overall sense of wellbeing. Learn principles of Ayurvedic cooking and food combining to benefit your constitution. 

This workshop has been created especially to support and educate nurses and other health care professionals, however anyone is welcome to attend.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a holistic approach to achieving and maintaining wellness based on the ancient knowledge of the sages of India. The secret to health is knowing how to take care of your body, mind, and soul. Ayurveda is a metaphysical medical science that is practical and incorporates daily habits that are simple to follow. By following a simple Ayurvedic lifestyle one can improve mental and physical health.

  • 11:45-1:00 pm: Ayurveda Five Element and Three Dosha Theory

  • 1-2 pm: Lunch

  • 2-5 pm: Ayurveda for personal Self-Care

  • 6-7 pm: Yoga - all levels

  • 7-8 pm: Dinner

  • 8-9 pm: Mantra Meditation class



  • 8 am: Yoga and meditation

  • 9:15-10 am: Breakfast

  • 10:15-11:30 am: Understanding Ayurveda Protocols 

  • 11:45-1:00 pm: How Ayurveda supports disease prevention

  • 1-2 pm: Lunch

  • 2-5 pm: Ayurveda for personal self-care

  • 5:30-7 pm: Ayurveda Cooking Class

  • 7-8 pm: Dinner

  • 8-8:30 pm: Evening meditation class
