Join us for a long weekend of classes on Ayurveda, yoga and meditation for good health, and an overall sense of wellbeing. Learn principles of Ayurvedic cooking and food combining to benefit your constitution. 

This workshop has been created especially to support and educate nurses and other health care professionals, however anyone is welcome to attend.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a holistic approach to achieving and maintaining wellness based on the ancient knowledge of the sages of India. The secret to health is knowing how to take care of your body, mind, and soul. Ayurveda is a metaphysical medical science that is practical and incorporates daily habits that are simple to follow. By following a simple Ayurvedic lifestyle one can improve mental and physical health.

  • Learn Ayurvedic practices to manage stress, and increase health naturally.  

  • As you rejuvenate your body, you will have more energy, sleep soundly, and feel better physically and emotionally.

  • Feel empowered to improve your health and reduce stress.

  • Learn Ayurveda self-care to know how to take better care of your body and mind. This knowledge will support your patient care.

  • Receive Ayurvedic dietary and lifestyle recommendations specifically designed for you, taking into consideration any imbalances in your body. 

  • Learn your unique, individual Ayurvedic constitution

  • 6:00 pm: Yoga - all levels

  • 7:00 pm: Dinner

  • 8-8:30 pm: Orientation

  • 8:30-9 pm: Intro to meditation class



  • 8 am: Yoga and meditation

  • 9:15-10 am: Breakfast

  • 10:15-11:30 am: What is Health according to Ayurveda?

  • 11:45-1:00 pm: Ayurveda Five-element and Three Dosha Theory

  • 1-2 pm: Lunch

  • 2-5 pm: Ayurveda for personal Self-Care

  • 6-7 pm: Yoga - all levels

  • 7-8 pm: Dinner

  • 8-9 pm: Mantra Meditation class



  • 8 am: Yoga and meditation

  • 9:15-10 am: Breakfast

  • 10:15-11:30 am: Understanding Ayurveda Protocols 

  • 11:45-1:00 pm: How Ayurveda supports disease prevention

  • 1-2 pm: Lunch

  • 2-5 pm: Ayurveda for personal Self-Care

  • 5:30-7 pm: Ayurveda Cooking Class

  • 7-8 pm: Dinner



  • 8 am: Yoga, breath-work and meditation

  • 9:15-10 am: Breakfast

  • 10: 15 - 11:30: Ayurveda Application for Daily Living

  • 11:45 - 1 pm: Ayurveda for Stress Reduction

  • 1:00 pm - Lunch
