Ayurveda, Yoga’s sister science, is a 5,000-year-old system of natural healing rooted in the ancient culture of India. More than a mere system of treating illness, Ayurveda is a science of life (Ayur = life,Veda = science or knowledge), guiding us not only towards vibrant physical and mental health, but also deeper connection to our spiritual nature. It offers a body of wisdom designed to help you stay vital while realizing your full human potential. Providing guidelines on ideal daily and seasonal routines, diet, behavior and the proper use of our senses, Ayurveda reminds us that health is the balanced and dynamic integration between our body, mind, spirit, and environment.
This 3 week online course is meant for everyone and anyone who has the desire to understand themselves on a deeper level while inviting the ancient, and thus time-tested wisdom of Ayurveda into their life.

Raised on the path of Bhakti Yoga, Dhyana has been visiting India since her childhood. Her father opened the Ayurveda Health Retreat when she was 12 years old, and at the age of 15 she was trained in the science of Ayurvedic body treatments. Seeing patient after patient experiencing deep transformation through the simple lifestyle practices of Ayurveda, her faith in the science deepened and she wanted to learn more.
She received her undergraduate degree in Yoga & Psychology at Naropa University and in 2011, along with her sister and father, founded YogaVeda; the Yoga Alliance certified school for uniting the philosophy, lifestyle, and sciences of Yoga & Ayurveda. She has studied the pulse with Dr. Lad as well as Dr. John Douillard. Dhyana completed her Ayurveda Health Counselor training in Berkshires in June 2018. Founding director of Stanton Street Yoga in New York City, she leads yoga teacher trainings, retreats, and workshops internationally.
