The Ayurveda Health Retreat is located at 14616 NW 140th St. Our phone number is 352-870-7645. If you are flying and are not renting a car, there are taxis available at the airport or you can use Uber or Lift.

When you arrive:

The main retreat consists of two blue buildings. Please park in any available spot in our parking lot and come to the office in the front building for check-in.

What to bring:

Please bring comfortable clothes for yoga, earbuds/eye-mask and indoor slippers (we do not wear street shoes inside). You may want to bring books, a journal and other things that are supportive of your healing process.

Our Retreat Center in a synthetic fragrance-free zone, please don't bring synthetic scents or perfume.

Panchakarma is not recommended for women during their menses. Try to book your appointment safely outside of your menstrual cycle. If menses occurs during your treatments, the treatments will be adjusted appropriately.

During your free time at the retreat, you may want to take advantage of the abundant outdoor activities available within a fifteen or twenty-minute drive. Nothing encourages relaxation and recovery like quality time spent reconnecting with Mother Earth. There are many clear springs, rivers, and lakes for swimming and canoeing or kayaking, as well as a wide range of walking and hiking trails for any level of expertise. Take a slow amble on a leafy path through O'Leno State Park, climb the stairs down into the Devil's Milhopper sinkhole, tube down the Ichetucknee River, or even bike through the San Felasco Hammock.

Climate and weather:

Alachua is situated in sunny, warm north central Florida. In the fall and spring, we have ideal weather in the 70s and lower 80s. During the winter, the days are usually comfortable but the nights may be quite cool. The summer is always hot and sometimes rainy. Please bring appropriate seasonal clothing.
